The Defy range is ZENITH's sport-contemporary line, built around the El Primero 3620 calibre. Two case families structure the collection: the Defy Skyline (41 mm or 36 mm for women, 100 m), available in automatic three-hand or chronograph versions, and the Defy Extreme (45 mm, 200 m), the most sport-oriented of the range. The Skyline's design is distinctive: its honeycomb dials with a geometric pattern inspired by Manufacture gears are crafted in premium materials (steel, titanium, ceramic). Prices range from €9,500 to €16,500 for the Skyline, and €20,200 for the Extreme.

In detail, the Defy Skyline Auto ★ (41/36 mm, 3-hand, 100 m) sits between €9,500 and €13,500, while the Defy Skyline Chrono (41 mm, 1/10th of a second, 100 m) climbs from €14,500 to €16,500. What is the difference between the Defy Skyline and the Chronomaster?

The Defy Skyline is a sport-daily watch with contemporary geometric design. The Chronomaster is a heritage-rich chronograph, more classical in character. The Defy is available as an automatic three-hand without a chronograph; the Chronomaster is almost exclusively a chronograph.

Is the Defy Skyline's honeycomb dial made of metal?

Yes. The distinctive geometric dial pattern is manufactured in titanium or ceramic depending on the version, machined directly by the Le Locle Manufacture. This process gives the dial a unique depth and relief that cannot be achieved by printing.

Can you dive with the Defy Skyline?

The Defy Skyline is water-resistant to 100 m, suitable for swimming, snorkelling and surface water sports. For scuba diving, the Defy Extreme at 200 m is more appropriate. The ISO 6425 standard is recommended for regular scuba use.

Is there a women's version of the Defy Skyline?

Yes. The Defy Skyline 36 mm is the women's version: same honeycomb design, same El Primero 3620 calibre, reduced to a 36 mm case. Available in steel, titanium or set-dial versions.

What is the power reserve of the Defy Skyline?

The El Primero 3620 calibre offers 60 hours of power reserve, allowing the watch to be worn from Friday evening to Monday morning without stopping. Automatic winding while worn guarantees continuous autonomy in daily use.
