Models equipped with Breitling manufacture calibers (B01, B20, B04, etc.) are all COSC-certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute. This certification guarantees a daily accuracy between -4 and +6 seconds.
References powered by third-party movements (particularly the Caliber B17) are also submitted for COSC certification on the majority of current models.
What Is the Difference Between the Navitimer and the Chronomat?
Both are manufacture chronographs, but they have very different identities. The Navitimer is an aviation instrument featuring a circular slide rule bezel, 30-meter water resistance, and a slimmer profile. The Chronomat is a versatile sports watch with 200-meter water resistance, Breitling's signature four rider tabs on the bezel, and a more robust integrated bracelet. For everyday wear: Chronomat. Which Breitling Is Best for Women?
