What is the difference between the Chronomaster Sport and the Original?
The Sport (41 mm) uses the El Primero 3600 calibre, measuring time to 1/10th of a second, with an integrated bracelet and a more assertive design. The Original (38–40 mm) uses the classic El Primero with three subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, in a more versatile classic design.
What is the El Primero tricolour dial?
The tricolour dial is the Chronomaster Sport's iconic signature: each of the three chronograph subdials is a different colour (silver, blue, bronze or black depending on the version). This visual identity echoes the original 1969 El Primero design, making the watch instantly recognisable.
What is the power reserve on the Chronomaster?
The Chronomaster Sport offers 60 hours of power reserve, enough to get through a weekend without winding. The Chronomaster Original offers approximately 50 hours. Automatic winding while worn guarantees continuous autonomy in daily use.
Is the Chronomaster water-resistant?
Yes. The Chronomaster Sport and Original are water-resistant to 100 metres, suitable for swimming and surface water sports. Avoid scuba diving and intense aquatic activities. The Chronomaster Revival is water-resistant to 50 m.
Can the Chronomaster be worn every day?
Yes, without restriction. The El Primero is a proven robust movement. The Sport in steel or titanium handles daily wear with no special care between services (every 5 to 7 years). The Sport's integrated bracelet is very comfortable whether worn tight or loosely.
