How to choose your Defy Skyline?

The Defy Skyline, part of the Defy family, comes in two main versions powered by the El Primero calibre: the automatic three-hand and the chronograph. The shared design feature is the honeycomb dial with a geometric pattern inspired by the gears of the Le Locle Manufacture, machined in titanium or ceramic depending on the version.

How is the Defy Skyline's honeycomb dial made?

The Defy Skyline dial is CNC-machined from a block of titanium or ceramic at the Le Locle Manufacture. Each cell is individually milled, giving the dial a depth and texture impossible to reproduce by printing or screen-printing.

Is the Defy Skyline also available in ceramic?

Yes. Some Defy Skyline versions are available with a black or white ceramic case or bezel, extremely resistant to scratches. These versions, slightly more expensive, offer superior durability in terms of resistance to daily scratches.

Does the Defy Skyline have a date?

Yes. The automatic versions of the Defy Skyline include a date window at 6 o'clock, discreet and well integrated into the geometric dial design. The chronograph version also displays the date at 6 o'clock, between the chronograph subdials.

What is the power reserve of the automatic Defy Skyline?

The El Primero 3620 calibre offers 60 hours of power reserve. Worn daily, automatic winding by the rotor guarantees continuous autonomy. For irregular wear, an automatic watch winder is recommended to keep the movement running.

Can you dive with the Defy Skyline?

The Defy Skyline is water-resistant to 100 m: suitable for swimming, snorkelling and surface water sports. Not recommended for scuba diving (ISO 6425 standard not applied). The Defy Extreme (200 m) is the ZENITH option for more intensive aquatic use.
