In the early 1940s, Willy Breitling was already dreaming of a post-war era where utility would give way to unbridled optimism. He began designing a chronograph that would be functional, yet also undeniably elegant and infinitely easy to wear—in his words, “the unmistakable mark of impeccable taste.” He called this new collection the Premier. To create its modern Premier collection, Breitling retained the hallmarks of the old collection: a smooth fixed bezel, a two-counter dial, sleek rectangular pushers, and Arabic numerals. The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 is available in a wide range of dial colors and case materials. It is offered on a classic alligator leather strap or an elegant 7-row metal bracelet. The current Premier model also meets Willy Breitling's exacting technical standards with its exceptional self-winding movement – the COSC-certified Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01 – designed for maximum precision, reliability and functionality.
