Designed for the waves and the seaside. The Superocean Heritage is no ordinary dive watch and never has been. When Breitling first launched it in 1957, it stood out from other dive watches of the time. The Ref. 1004 (a sleek three-hand watch) and the Ref. 807 (the world's first dive chronograph) weren't just about exploring the underwater world; they were also designed to do it in style. The spear-and-arrow hands, rotating anodized aluminum bezel, and effortlessly clean proportions made it a favorite with adventurers worldwide with a passion for the sea and style. Today, that philosophy remains at the heart of the Superocean Heritage. Its contemporary design still captures the spirit of the 1950s. The latest Superocean Heritage takes all the key elements of the original and refines them. The collection is equipped for the first time with the B31 movement, Breitling's exclusive three-hand manufacture caliber. A ceramic-encrusted bezel adds exceptional scratch resistance, while integrated metal mesh or braided rubber bracelets fit snugly against the case and are secured with folding clasps for a clean, water-resistant finish. The discreet date window at six o'clock and the distinctive hands (arrow for the hours, spear for the minutes) ensure legibility and balance, both on the surface and beneath.
Breitling Superocean Heritage B31 Automatic 42 Watch captures the spirit of the 1950s with its 42 mm stainless steel case and in-house B31 automatic movement, accentuated by a deep green dial and rubber strap.
