Chanel Haute Horlogerie, Exceptional Timepieces

I

Exceptional new arrivals have made their way into our AUBERI boutique at Cap 3000: We have just welcomed Chanel's Watchmaking collections. With them comes all the prestige of a Haute Couture Maison founded in 1910 by the legendary Coco Chanel. Timeless, technical, and creative, Chanel watches have enjoyed success since their launch in 1987 and continue to evolve with the times.

The Watchmaking Style of the Maison Chanel

Created by Jacques Helleu in the late 1980s, the Première watch set the tone for Chanel's watchmaking style. Its case evokes both the shape of Place Vendôme and the stopper of the famous N°5 perfume. Continuously reinterpreted with different materials, colors, and straps, the Première watches have been embraced by all admirers of the Maison Chanel.

Created in 2000, the J12 is the first watchmaking icon of the 21st century. Crafted in ceramic—a high-tech, inalterable material—the J12 watch was first launched in black, then in white three years later. Since then, white has established itself as a staple in the watchmaking world. Elegant, contemporary, and effortless, the J12 evolves with each collection toward bolder design and ever greater modernity. The Mademoiselle Privé watch series pays tribute to the métiers d'art, just as the Haute Couture Maison itself does. The finest artisan enamelers, engravers, chasers, and gem-setters work on these pieces, offering us creative and delicate collections that bear witness to French watchmaking savoir-faire. In 2015, Chanel launched the Boy·Friend watch—a timepiece with clean lines, perfect proportions, and a true essence of understated elegance. Decidedly in tune with the times, it introduces a new attitude and blurs the boundaries between masculine and feminine. Men are not forgotten, with the stunning Monsieur de Chanel watch, available with or without the Maison's emblem—a lion with a regal bearing.

In 2017, Maison Chanel celebrated its 30th anniversary in watchmaking. For the occasion, it ventured into Haute Horlogerie. Jewelry watches were imagined around six iconic symbols of the brand. More than watches, they are jewels that tell the time.

Chanel, the Latest Watch Models

The latest creation from the design studio sits between these high jewelry collections and the timeless model. The Code Coco watch is a true jewel bringing together the Maison's signature codes: the quilted motif, the clasp found on the iconic 2.55 bag, and diamonds—Gabrielle Chanel's favorite stones. She once said: "If I chose the diamond, it is because it represents, in its density, the greatest value in the smallest volume." Find these exceptional collections at Maison AUBERI at Cap 3000. We look forward to introducing them to you.
