Duomètre, Jaeger-LeCoultre's dual-wing fine watchmaking

Launched in 2007 with the Duomètre à Chronographe, the Duomètre collection is built on the Dual-Wing concept: two separate gear trains, one for time display and the other for a complementary function (chronograph, calendar, minute repeater), each powered by its own mainspring barrel but synchronised through a single regulating wheel. This principle, developed by the manufacture founded in 1833 in the Vallée de Joux, isolates the additional function without affecting the precision of the time display.
