The Tentagraph, the first automatic chronograph from Grand Seiko, is powered by the new caliber 9SC5, which uses the revolutionary High-Beat caliber 9SA5 as its base. This chronograph is emblematic of the next generation of Grand Seiko sports watches, both for its technological innovation and its Evolution 9 design. Offering a power reserve of 72 hours, the Tentagraph becomes the 10 vph chronograph with the longest power reserve available on the market in 2023. Its design has been completely revised to improve its comfort and readability: the 43.2mm case and bracelet are made of high-intensity titanium, an alloy that is 30% lighter and more scratch-resistant than stainless steel, while its bezel is made of scratch-resistant ceramic. Adorned in a blue hue, the dial features the Mount Iwate motif, a true source of inspiration for the watchmakers at Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi who see it from the windows of their workshops.
