THE MAIN STAGES IN REPAIRING YOUR WATCH

Step 1: Repairing your watches

Minor repairs are carried out directly in the workshop of our AUBERI CAP 3000 boutique by our master watchmakers, accredited by the leading watchmakers (Rolex, Cartier, Omega Breitling...). Repairs and checks are carried out as quickly as possible.

Step 2: Bracelet sizing or replacement

At the time of purchase, we adjust the strap of your timepiece to the size of your wrist. This service is free of charge and can also be carried out for watches purchased online. Boutique AUBERI can also modernize your watch by simply changing its strap, whether to replace the worn-out original or to complete your wardrobe.

Step 3: Inspecting and cleaning your watch

Because the longevity of your timepiece depends on regular maintenance, we offer a fee-based inspection and cleaning service for watches from the brands featured in our AUBERI boutique.

Step 4: General overhaul of your watch

A watch needs regular servicing to maintain its function, appearance and value, especially if it is equipped with an automatic movement. When and how this should be done depends on the watch you own, but it's usually between three and five years, depending on the watch manufacturer's recommendations and how often you wear it. A full overhaul service essentially involves dismantling the watch into its constituent parts, then reassembling it.

Step 5: Engraving your watch

There are many ways to personalize your watch, but none as timeless or unique as engraving. Your watch is much more than a simple accessory: it's associated with personal memories, a part of our heritage and even a sentimental value. There's no secret about it: a fine watch, regularly maintained, will last for decades and generations to come.

KNOW YOUR WATCH

It's important to know the mechanism of the watch you're buying:

WEAR YOUR WATCH

Your watch will always look good on your wrist, but wearing it also means maintaining it (for mechanical watches). Indeed, when the watch is not worn for some time, liquids can dry out, harden and cause the movement to malfunction.

There are, however, devices that can reproduce the movement for you. Our sales team will be happy to show you or advise you on suitable models.

HAVE YOUR WATCH SERVICED

You should have your timepiece serviced every 5 to 7 years, depending on the model. Of course, if no particular malfunction is observed. Not all watches are the same, and not all wearers subject them to the same activities. If you regularly put your watch under water (in the shower, for example), you'll need to check its water-resistance every 2 years, as the seals will quickly become damaged.

If, following a purchase in your AUBERI boutique, your new ring doesn't fit, you can exchange it for a model of the right size or modify its size. We offer a fee-based modification service for rings that have already been worn.

Step 3: Cleaning your jewelry

To help you keep your jewelry in excellent condition, we recommend that you schedule an annual cleaning. Our artisan jeweler will also be alert to signs of wear and tear, and suggest essential repairs before problems develop. As part of a fee-based service, you have the option of having jewelry that you haven't purchased in our boutique cleaned.

Stage 4: Engraving

Sometimes that special gift needs a more personal touch. Sometimes what you want to say is so special that you want your loved one to be able to keep and cherish it forever. We can help with our engraving service.

Step 5: Creating or customizing your jewel

To give a second life to a family heirloom or to create a unique piece of jewelry, our artisan jeweler will advise you and suggest new ideas.
