French Tank watch, large model , automatic mechanical. Steel case. Steel crown with sides decorated with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel. Silver dial, blued steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet. Case size: 36.7 mm x 30.5 mm, thickness: 10.1 mm. Water-resistant to 3 bars (~30 meters). Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was offered to General Pershing a few years before it was marketed in 1919. Its unique aesthetic is due to its attachments hidden under its flat vertical stretchers with sharp edges. The purity of its lines will seduce the free and elegant spirits of this world.
