Worn on all six moon landings, the OMEGA Speedmaster is one of OMEGA's most iconic watches. This special edition draws inspiration from the original 1957 model and the collection's long history in space exploration. The 40.85 mm satin-finished stainless steel watch features a grained matte black dial with a rhodium-plated outer ring and hour markers made of green-luminescent white Super-LumiNova blocks. Its cockpit-inspired display has two opaline counters in the center and satin-finished beveled corners. At 3 o'clock is a 60-minute/12-hour counter, designed to resemble a "burn rate" indicator. It includes a matte orange triangular hand and white decal numerals. At 9 o'clock, the small seconds display, designed to resemble a target/aiming indicator, features a matte yellow lacquered hand and a blue artificial horizon. The hour and minute hands are coated with matte black PVD and white Super-LumiNova blocks with green luminescence. The central chronograph hand features a varnished orange aircraft tip. This Speedmaster Pilot has a satin-finished steel bracelet with flat links and OMEGA's patented screw and pin system. This model is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9900. The watch is presented in a special travel case, accompanied by a tool for changing the strap and a NATO strap made with KEVLAR® fibers.
