The 1960s were a decade of experimentation, fun, freedom and energy. Whether it was cruising the roads on a motorcycle or in a sports car, living life at full speed was the order of the day. Willy Breitling sensed this change of pace and set out to create an unconventional chronograph that reflected the spirit of the times. He named it the Top Time. This spirited tradition continues today as Breitling teams up with some of the biggest names in automotive design to create its Top Time models. The first-generation Ford Mustang, produced from 1964 to 1974, became the go-to car for cruising the roads of 1960s America. This living legend is still in production, but car enthusiasts know that the coolest models are its earliest models, which captured the free spirit of the 1960s. The Top Time B01 Ford Mustang features the colors and emblem of the legendary car of the same name, as well as a perforated leather strap with a racing theme, a tachometer to measure speed, and contrasting “squircle” subdials that evoke vintage dashboard gauges. It also has a worthy engine under the hood: the exceptional Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.
