During the Five Deeps expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history by descending to the deepest point on Earth. Following this record-breaking dive, the game-changing watch was adapted into a unique consumer collection. Tested in real ocean conditions during its development, the design is water-resistant to 6,000 meters and complies with the ISO 6425:2018 saturation diving watch standard. This 45.5 mm sandblasted grade 5 titanium model features a satin-brushed black ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale. Its domed, protruding sapphire crystal caps a black ceramicized grade 5 titanium dial with a central seconds hand with a gradient effect going from white to cyan, cyan Arabic numerals, and 18K white gold hour and minute hands, coated with white Super-LumiNova. The watch features distinctive “manta horns” at each end, which attach to a black and cyan polyamide NATO strap with a grade 5 titanium buckle. The caseback features a grade 5 titanium medallion, which is laser-engraved with the Sonar emblem with the iconic OMEGA seahorse at its centre. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8912 movement.
